The school of Poblaki

In this new year 2019, the school of Poblaki has no less than 110 students, from kindergarten to primary, supervised by 10 teachers. Founded more than thirty years ago by Father Joseph Quintard, the school already has a strong group of alumni, young adults well integrated into professional life, both in the city and in the villages. Modest wooden construction in its early days, the primary school was completely rebuilt by Father Alain Bourdery in 2011. The nursery school and the common, very degraded, were rebuilt this year, thanks to the support of the association Enfants du Mekong, on the plans of a newly graduated Thai architect, Arthit Markshom. The ten teachers are all former students, and are mostly from the village.
