Paschal Triduum

For the Paschal Triduum, a march was proposed between three villages facing each other from one summit to another: Kouki-Kouta, Sohelou and Poblaki.

Holy Thursday, the Lord's Supper, was celebrated in a small house in the village of Kouki, then the community descended in procession to the village of Kuta, accompanying Christ to the repository. Friday, in the early morning, all followed the Way of Cross across the mountain to join the village of Sohelou for the veneration of the Cross. Finally, some fifteen villagers traveled the next day the valley between fields and river to Poblaki for the Easter Vigil. 7 adults were able to receive baptism. Following the Triduum, Father Camille celebrated 9 Easter Masses in the karen mountains
