Assomption and mothers feast in Ponouaipou

Ponouaipou celebrates all the mothers

On August 17 and 18, the center of Ponouaipou is in turmoil: the mothers of the children were invited to the double celebration of the birthday of the Queen (mother's day in Thailand) and the Christian feast of the Assumption. Even if all could not come (the road conditions, in this monsoon season, still isolates many villages), it is a large audience that shares the songs, the dances, the solemn mass and the banquet prepared by the children.
