The feast of water and elders in the village of Poblaki.

Songkran. The traditional feast of water, in the hottest part of the year, was an opportunity for the gathered villagers to celebrate their elders. 

The dispensary, newly opened, welcomes villagers of all generations. We take advantage of this time of annual holidays to celebrate the elders of the village (beyond 55 years ...), while the young parties left to work in town are back in the village for a few days. Gift giving and hand washing ceremony, with scented water, followed by the inevitable water games in this traditional Thai water festival. Opportunity to cool off in a good mood, as temperatures reach highs.
